My name is Julia Rose DeAngelis and I am a Pastry Chef and Culinary Scientist from Long Island New York. I attended Johnson and Wales University and graduated in 2021 with an Associates Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts, Bachelors Degree in Food and Beverage Entrepreneurship and a Bachelors Degree in Culinary Science and Product Development. 

My passion has alway been for art, and being creative- no matter the medium. One night, on a whim, I applied to Johnson and Wales University. I was accepted, visited the school, and the rest was history. I had never felt like I belonged more than when I stepped on the campus. After receiving an Associates in Baking and Pastry Arts, I knew I wanted to run my own business and pursued a degree in Entrepreneurship and, after deciding I wasn't quite done with college, I added on the second degree of Culinary Science and Product Development.

And so my adventure began. I went to every baking lab I could, never missing a single class, and trying to squeeze every bit of information from each chef and professor I was fortunate enough to meet. I graduated Summa Cum Laude for all three degrees and secured a full time position in Food Science to begin my career! 

I took the skills I learned from my chefs and from working in various bakeries over the summers and internships and applied them to starting my own business. Now I am focused on reaching more and more people and sharing what I can make with the world, while during the day, working my food science job.
